My children and I really enjoyed this seasonal winter rental. The kitchen has recently been updated with a brand new refrigerator, new lighting, efficient shelving, and cute wallpaper. The kitchen is small but has ample storage and is well equipped for cooking. The overall feeling of the condo is charming and cozy - dark paneled walls, durable leather furniture in living room, nice lighting, and comfortable beds. The location is super convenient, with the ability to ski home when there is enough snow, a 2 minute drive to the mountain for easy drop off/ pick up and when the kids forget something :) and easy walk to neighbors houses for ares ski! There are a few negatives... There is not a "mudroom" area with coat hooks and storage of coats, boots, ski bags and equipment within the unit but we brought in some extra storage pieces for the entry and made it work; The parking is tough because shared with the 3 other units, but we worked out a system with the neighbors; The location of the building is on a busy corner and can have a fishbowl feeling at times, and the walls and floors are not well insulated so it can be very noisy, especially from the neighbors directly above. If you're looking for privacy and a quiet retreat this may not be the right place for you... However, we really enjoyed the social aspect of having neighbors in the other units. It was comforting to know that there were nice people across the hall and upstairs who were to always willing to lend a hand! The front porch with sliding doors and easy access to sledding for the kids and grilling/socializing is awesome. Overall, this is a great winter seasonal rental unit!
